Sweet things happened when an artist baker, Christy, and a passionate chocolatier, Bernhard, fell in love. 

Established in 2002 Christy's Gourmet is a family run chocolate and sweets boutique, located in Burlington, Ontario. All of our products are lovingly created in small batches to maintain their artisanal quality. 

Every day is different in the shop.  We love to get creative bringing new products to our customers.  Our sweet little shop has been described as “tiny but mighty”; but what we lack in size, we make up for in ♥

Christy & Bernhard

Christy Mueller started Christy's Gourmet Gifts
based on family traditions.

From a young age she loved to bake
with her Nanny. They would spend countless hours
in the kitchen baking cookies, squares, and the
now famous crunch.

Christy has since carried on the tradition and
it brings her so much joy to be able to share her
love of baking with you! 

Christy’s Master Chocolatier Bernhard Mueller
has travelled the world pursuing his love of
chocolate.

With a European background, Bernhard
grew up only enjoying high quality chocolate. He
is a self professed chocolate snob and loves to
talk chocolate with anyone willing to listen.

Although serious about his chocolate, Bernhard
loves to make people laugh. He is a true character
and his sense of humor makes learning from him
always a great time! His stories will keep you
mesmerized!
